The Work This is intriguing. I like the way that the artist plays with size and investigation. It takes work to get to the content, but the search process is itself is integral to the piece, and not merely a function of slow net speeds. There is an intentional element in this approach, turning a "bug" into a "feature," as it were, that is challenging and effective.

Great example of an artist using the web to form a cohesive, non-linear experience that leads the viewer in certain directions but leaves room for the viewer to maneuver and manipulate the site. --mw I think Cary Peppermint will be one of the most influential young artists coming out of the digital world and moving into the fine art world. He is continually innovative and almost comprehensible. I think that is what I like about him...I understand him without really understanding him. He hit basic primal cords. --rc
